Stewart Graham teamed up with The Ellwood Gallery, Ripley to hold its first reception attended by Surrey Chamber of Commerce CEO, Louise Punter. Ellwood, a photographer and artist, was in attendance to talk about some of the close calls he'd had when photographing wildlife. Ellwood's African guide was beside himself on one such occasion when Ellwood was lying on the ground photographing a Bull elephant 30 feet away when it turned and started coming towards him.
Stewart held the evening to thank all those people who had helped and supported him during the first exciting year of Avalon Solutions. Now working with several clients from law and accountancy firms to schools and manufacturers, and having helped a number of organisations to even greater success in his first year, Stewart said "We can minimise the credit crunch on business by not only working smarter in our own businesses but by 'giving back' with our time and expertise to help other businesses through this difficult time."
School Management Review system implemented for Support Staff in "excellent training day"
Avalon Solutions' Stewart Graham has just finished working with St Thomas More Language College in Chelsea putting in place a Performance Management Review system for the Support Staff and training an in-house Team to carry out those reviews.
Deputy Head, Dr Trevor Papworth, said "One can only describe the service provided by Avalon Solutions and Stewart Graham as excellent as it was tailor-made to meet our needs. It really felt like the training was all personalised, which ensured all of the participants were fully engaged." Exams Officer and Cover Administrator, Mike Fargen, said "A very well planned event, the role play was particularly useful."
Stewart said, "It was important to ensure the School's costs were kept down by creating a Team from the existing Senior Support Staff to carry out the reviews rather than Avalon Solutions returning each year."
"The Government is pushing hard for Schools to employ Business Managers yet outsourcing the role costs less and is just as effective, bringing business contacts and ideas to the school environment."
